A real story about a Dj....
"This was back in 1998. I was 19 years old, and I was currently working in this club in the bronx called Webster Hall. It was gonna be my first night there, and I was going to take over for a local DJ named DJ MArk D who was moving to the ATL. The whole week I was nervous because back then Webster Hall pulled closed to 500+ people in their on an average night. I usually played for 100-300 people not to mention there was rumor that Hot 97 will be in the building, plus some other celebrities. I knew I had to be on my A game to show everybody what I can do. Friday night comes, and I'm excited. Throughout the day, I was feeling kinda quezzy, and my stomach was hurting...come to find out...I was getting the case "diarreha"!!!!!! Man...I was on the toilet non-stop all day!!! I promised myself...I wasn't gonna eat nothing for the rest of the day because I knew it would mess up my night. OK...so I finally made it through rest of the afternoon, and evening without eating nothing. I'm thirsty as hell...I'm somewhat dehydrated. So the time had came for me to go DJing. I was thinking of cancelling, but I didn't want to because I considered this to be my BIG BREAK as a DJ...not to mention they were paying 850 dollars for that night and I needed the money. I'm feeling like crap..my stomach is bubbling, and I'm feeling weak, but that didn't stop me from doing my thing. As the night goes on..I'm doing my stuff, trying to ignore the pain, and the bubbles. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN AT APPROXIMATELY 2:48 AM....I REALIZED I HAD TO GO TO THE TOILET, PA' MADONNA!!!! I couldn't believe this was happening to me!!! My stomach was screaming....and at the time...I wasn't using CD players only records. I had nobody to cover me....It was only me!!! I was hurting bad, and I felt it about to come out!!!!!! I had to think of something fast...so I had to put on a song long enough for me to run to this bathroom take a pupu, and come back in time to continiue the party....SO I put on Cha Cha Slide....(the extended Version)
I put that one and tried to run to the bathroom, but it was so hard because the club was so crowded!!! OH IT GETS WORST.....as I sitting there...all of a sudden the RECORD STARTS SKIPPING, AND ITS REPEATING THE VERSE...."CRISS CROSS" ....everybody started booing!!!
